Rock Climbing and Rappelling
Rock climbing and rappelling have become our most popular Adventure Connection activities. The New River Gorge and Gauley River Canyon recreation areas offer some of the best rock climbing in the eastern U.S. With over 2000 unique routes and expert climbing guides, all skill levels are easily addressed so that anyone can give this sport a try. Many people think you have to be in excellent physical condition to enjoy climbing. This just isn't true! We have designed our programs to focus on fun and recreation, not difficult routes. Climbing trips can be enjoyed by anyone, even children as young as five.

Our most popular trip is an evening rappel. Gravity does all the work in rappelling! There are half-day and full-day trips with easy climbs and lots of rappelling.
